Learning basic manip with a single ball.

This routine is a great way to gather a crowd, or do in the middle of a show, or even at the end of a show as a finale, depending on how one presents it.

This routine can be done with just a single ball that one could obtain for under a dollar.

This routine is not meant to be copied, but to learn basic moves, gags and tricks that one can be re-strung together into a routine that best fits their character, not mine.

I have added other props, such as a clown horn and a bouncing Hank, but I have seen similar other routines with only a single ball, done all over the world by many street performers.

It could be fun for you to start thinking about props you would add or take away for your creation.

Ball Manip, is a very basic skill that every Magician should have.

This can be done indoors, out doors, close up, parlor or stage.

It can even be done with an egg or a lime. One would just have to be more careful, and of course not bounce it.

So here's what we will be learning today.

It's My Clown Nose Watch it!

In future tutorials we will be learning the no gimmick billiard ball routines with multiple balls, without the use of shells or hold outs or droppers or whatever, just working from the pockets, but today we will be starting out with the one ball routine to learn the basics.

This routine was inspired by my good friend Mike Gifford my brother student of our teacher Doug Conn. We had both learned magic under him and would share knowledge of our expertise. His was single silk, single coin and single ball routines.

But anyway let's take a look at the routine I put together so we can learn some basic one ball manip in the tutorial video below.
