Innovations For The Classic Two In The Hand Trick. -Tutorial.
-paid subscribers.
The greatest strength of the Two In The Hand Trick, is of course that it uses no gimmicks and can be done with any small objects.
Coins, crochet balls, sponge balls, even screws and bolts. In fact in the bonus video today, we’ll be doing it with three dice and a dice cup.
We are going to be talking about new methods and new strategies for this old street classic.
The reason we are talking about old classics, is because they are tried and true and have been tested under fire on the streets by thousands of Masters before us.
Besides different handling, I have chose to include clowning and extra props.
Classically this trick has been used as a gotcha trick, to single out spectators and make them look foolish. I have completely gotten away from this, and tried to put the butt of the joke on me. I feel this clownish type of presentation is received better without all the confrontation.
Here’s a short clip to give you an idea of the approach I use. This change in handling and approach, among other things, is what we will be learning today in the tutorial.
Important Note: An astute Magician will notice right away that I am not using the same method we all learned as beginners.
But wait there’s more.
This trick can be played big or small, anywhere in your show, or even as an encore.
There are Street Magicians who only carry the props to do the classic Cups And Balls Trick. This is a trick usually done with a wand, three cups and three little balls.
Any other tricks they do will have to be done with these props, for instance before their show, they may do a vanishing wand trick to get people to stop and watch their actual Cup And Ball Show.
Sometimes if they are asked after the show to do another trick, they simply take the wand and the three balls, and do the Two In The Hand Trick.
Encore.
The video below is the classic example of a street opener. We will also be learning the sequence for this today.
If your not a paid subscribers I believe I have given you enough clues with our Magician double speak to give you food for thought, but if you’re a paid subscribers let’s take a look at how I do this this stuff in our tutorial video below.
